REO KŌRERO – TERMS & CONDITIONS
Services
Te Ataarangi ki Te Kāhui Maunga Charitable Trust provides online and in-person Te Reo Māori programmes. The organisation retains the right to modify courses and change details at its discretion. Courses may be cancelled with a minimum of thirty days’ notice.
Payment / Registration
Courses will be billed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Accepted payment methods include credit cards, debit cards, or a direct debit plan. Payment for all courses must be made either in full or through a direct debit plan over a four to eight week period, before the course begins. You are responsible for ensuring payment.
Once payment is received, you will be sent a registration form which must be completed inorder to finalise your enrolment.
Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel your registration up to the start date of the programme and receive a full refund. After the course begins, a 50% refund is available for up to two weeks. Te Ataarangi ki Te Kāhui Maunga Charitable Trust reserves the right to cancel a programme by providing written notice (including by email) at any time before the course starts. In such cases, all fees paid will be refunded.
Te Ataarangi ki Te Kāhui Maunga Charitable Trust’s liability for cancelling a course is limited to refunding the payment or any other charges paid.
For partial cancellations, refunds will be issued proportionately.
Please note that all dates are subject to change. Notice of any changes will be provided, but refunds will not be issued for rescheduled classes.
Limitation of Liability
Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, Te Ataarangi ki Te Kāhui Maunga Charitable Trust accepts no liability for any damages arising from services under this agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, operational failures, lost revenue, or missed profits.
Copyright
All materials – including but not limited to text, photographs, video, audio, images, and anyother content – appearing via the Reo Kōrero LMS and/or on the Website are protected by copyright and other proprietary rights belonging to Te Ataarangi ki Te Kāhui Maunga Charitable Trust.
You agree to abide by all applicable laws regarding copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, and privacy rights in NZ, Australia, the US, UK, and any other jurisdiction from which youare accessing the Website.
You may not copy, reproduce, duplicate, distribute, disseminate, publish, post, display, perform, modify, create derivative works from, upload to, transmit, or in any way exploit any content from the course or the Website.
You may not sell or offer for sale any of the content, allow third parties to access it, or use such content to construct any kind of database.
You may use the content only for personal, non-commercial use.
You agree to maintain the security of any username and password required for accessing the course.
You must notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use. Only you may access the course using your login details.
Data Protection
By registering and paying the fees, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with Te Ataarangi ki Te Kāhui Maunga Charitable Trust’s Privacy Statement.
Technology Requirements
Online courses are facilitated through an online learning management system. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary hardware, software, and Wi-Fi access.
Te Ataarangi ki Te Kāhui Maunga Charitable Trust is not responsible for any errors orfailures relating to your ability to access course materials, including:
(i) A loss of connection on the LMS or your end;
(ii) Issues with the online software;
(iii) Problems with your internet connection, computer, or system.
Term
The service is available for the duration of the course, as determined by Te Ataarangi ki Te Kāhui Maunga Charitable Trust.
Law and Venue
Any disputes arising from this agreement are governed by New Zealand law and must be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
