What is Te Ataarangi?
Te Ataarangi is one of the most effective ways to learn to kōrero Māori, and it has gone global with Ataarangi ONLINE.
Te Ataarangi is a very distinctive reo learning approach. It is based on a learning model first developed in Europe and was first adapted to reo Māori in the late 1970's by Ngoi Pēwhairangi and Katerina Mataira, two staunch advocates for reo Māori. It gives the highest priority to speaking and interacting in a group.
Reo Kōrero is led by Dr. Ruakere Hond and other pou / leaders of Te Ataarangi.
