Te Huanui

Koha Scholarship

We were incredibly moved by the generosity of one of our ākonga, who has gifted koha to fully cover the costs for THREE people to enrol in Te Huanui (Ataarangi ONLINE) this July intake. Kātahi te whakaaro aroha!

While they wish to remain anonymous, they shared with us how much learning te reo Māori and being part of the Ataarangi kaupapa has positively impacted their life, their confidence, and their whānau. They wanted to create the same opportunity for others to begin or continue their own reo journey.

THREE PLACES AVAILABLE
We are offering:

  • One place in Level 1

  • One place in Level 2

  • One place in Level 3

WHO CAN APPLY?
Anyone can apply for themselves, and anyone can nominate someone else they believe would benefit from this opportunity.

 

HOW TO APPLY
Tell us:

  • Why is learning te reo Māori important to you?

  • How would speaking te reo impact your whānau, community, or future aspirations?

Applications close on 2 June 2026.

Successful recipients will be contacted via email to confirm their place in the July intake of Te Huanui.
